About the 2024 Princess Diana Award Nomination
The Diana Award is the most prestigious accolade a young person aged 9–25 can receive for their social action or humanitarian work.
Now let me tell you that I have a friend who received the Princess Diana Award in 2022, and I must say to you that this award is very competitive, but that does not mean you can’t receive it. Eligibility.
- To be eligible for the Princess Diana Award, nominees must be aged between 9 and 25 at the time of their nomination. Please note that you cannot nominate yourself, your family or your friends for the Diana Award.
- You must have been carrying out your social action work for a minimum of 12 months.
- Also, since the award is based on nomination, make sure that whoever will nominate you is over 18 years old.
- Your nominator should know you, the nominee, in a professional capacity.
- This one is important. Whoever will nominate you should not be related to you. Don’t use your family members as your nominator; otherwise, you will be disqualified.
- The nominator can provide the contact details and a Supporting Statement from an additional Supporter to validate the nomination.
- The nominator can provide additional evidence of the nominee’s social action work (optional).

Few Things To Keep In Mind.
The Diana Award will be given to you only if you:
- Demonstrate commitment and passion to the cause, evidenced through your service to that cause and through social action.
- Create positive social change that is of benefit to the wider community.
- Demonstrate how you have led, owned, and shaped the activities you are nominating for.
- Provide evidence of transformation throughout your service journey, including attitude, skills gained, and challenges you have overcome.
- Demonstrate that, through your positive attitude and passionate approach to life, you are a role model to others.

- Princess Diana Award recipients will be celebrated at the virtual Award Ceremony in December 2024.
- Each recipient will be mailed a personalized Diana Award certificate and celebrated with their peers..

- UK-based Princess Diana Award recipients are also presented with an invitation to Althorp House, Princess Diana’s childhood home. These invitations are gifted to Diana Award recipients in kind by Princess Diana’s brother, Earl Spencer, in recognition of the continuation of Diana’s legacy.
